You can watch two live events at the same time, except for on mobile phones. Note that this feature is not available for video on demand.
Hover over or tap the video player to show the player controls. Click or tap the menu button (yellow circle) in the top right corner of the video player.
Go to the Events list on the left side of the screen and select the second live stream that you wish to watch.
On the dual video view page that opens, you can now watch both events at the same time.
Closed Captioning Settings
All event video that airs on television is closed captioned. Not all live event streams will have captioning. Also, short-format video, such as highlights video, will not have closed captioning. By default, closed captioning is turned off.
Here’s how to control your captioning settings:
Note: The default audio setting is English. For French Olympic video, go to http://jeuxolympiques.radio-canada.ca/.
Hover or tap the video player to show the player controls. Click or tap the yellow circle in the top right corner of the video player. On smartphones, this control is displayed in landscape view only.
If you are watching a live video, click or tap the round setting control in the top right corner of the video screen, and it will give you a captioning setting to the left of the screen. Note: If you have selected two streams to watch in the dual video view, you will have captioning options for both video feeds.
To turn the captioning on, select “English” by clicking on the white dropdown arrow. To turn it off, select “Disabled.”
