Defenceman P.K. Subban and forward Matt Duchene are taking another turn as Canada's scratches for the team's Olympic quarter-final game Wednesday against Latvia (CBC, cbc.ca/olympics, noon ET).

This is the third game Subban will not dress for Canada, as he was scratched for the tournament opener against Norway and Sunday's game against Finland. He logged 11 minutes, 41 seconds of ice time in his lone appearance against Austria.

Duchene was also a scratch against Norway. He returned to the lineup against Austria and registered four shots on goal in 14:28 of ice time.

Veteran forward Martin St. Louis rejoins the team after being a healthy scratch against Finland.

Coach Mike Babcock announced Tuesday that Carey Price will get the start in goal with Roberto Luongo as his backup.

The Canadians avoided a matchup against stingy Switzerland, which was shocked by Latvia 3-1 in the qualifying round on Tuesday.

The Latvians frustrated the Swiss with a tight-checking style that may be a tough matchup for the Canadians, who have yet to see their offence light up. Canada's defencemen have accounted for six of the team's 11 goals -- four of them coming from Drew Doughty.
