Canada’s Dara Howell is aiming for the podium in Sochi. She was recently named to the Canadian Olympic freestyle team and will compete in women’s slopestyle when the event makes its Olympic debut in Sochi.

Howell, 19, currently leads the World Cup slopestyle standings, landing on the podium multiple times this season.

This weekend she will make her third career appearance at X Games in Aspen, Colo. Howell looks to improve on her bronze-medal performance from last year.

Howell, along with her dad Doug, joined freestyle skiing analyst Kate Pettersen on Friday to talk about the X Games and her Olympic dream. Watch the replay below.
