Anton Kushnir wins aerials World Cup in Utah

Canada's Travis Gerrits finishes 8th

Belarus' Anton Kushnir won the aerials in the freestyle World Cup event Friday night at Deer Valley Ski Resort, and China's Cheng Shuang topped the women's competition.

Kushnir finished with 127.15 points. China's Qi Guangpu was second with 114.0, and Alexei Girshin, also from Belarus, was third with 112.18. Jonathon Lillis was the top American, finishing fourth

Cheng had 91.65 points to lead a Chinese sweep. Zhang Xin followed at 88.47, and Xu Mengtao was third at 78.49. Emily Cook was seventh to lead the American women.

Canada's Travis Gerrits finished eighth.
