Canada’s figure skaters have provided many memorable moments on their way to capturing an Olympic medal.

In this 12-part series, we catch up with some of these homegrown skating heroes as they give us insight into how they felt in their "Olympic Moment."

In a remarkable show of guts and determination, Joannie Rochette was the inspiration of the Olympics in 2010 when, just a few days after the death of her mother, she skated to a bronze medal.
