Canada’s figure skaters have provided many memorable moments on their way to capturing an Olympic medal.

In this 12-part series, we catch up with some of these homegrown skating heroes as they give us insight into how they felt in their "Olympic Moment."


Jeffrey Buttle was a gifted artistic skater who won the bronze medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy. After becoming world champion in 2008, he has gone on to create uniquely memorable choreography for some of today’s skating legends, including Canada's Patrick Chan.
